Started by the United Nations in 1974, it encourages everyone to work towards a sustainable future. Each year, a theme focuses on issues like plastic pollution and climate change. Activities like educational events, clean-ups, and policy support aim to inspire positive change and a shared responsibility for our planet’s health.
